Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

My husband is experiencing lower back pain , mostly right side, it is a small lump we feel just beneath the skin that is so painful. It feels like it slips back and forth. He puts heat to it and takes Aleeve.. I would say it is the size of a nickel. What could this be ?

It could be a lipoma, a benign mass of fat cells. Or It could be a cyst or other swelling. If it is lipoma then it may be removed by excision if causing discomfort. Cyst can also be removed this way. So for proper diagnosis and treatment you should consult a good surgeon.
