Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi doc. My name is Javid. Dentistry student. 30 yrs old. I train in the gym regularly 4 times a week. Normal body and weight. Took 2 scoops of preworkout last Tuesday for leg day. Had a very intense leg workout. At night i started to get pressure in chest. Normalized in the morning. Next day went for shoulders and triceps workout (no preworkout this time). No workout for next 3 days Friday had few drinks and Saturday I slept the entire day. Yesterday, Sunday I developed lower back pain with pain radiating to my right leg in the frontal region. Not sure what this could be.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a overuse of the muscles due to workout. I suggest to rest for a couple of days. I recommend to use anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application. Magnesium supplement can also be very helpful in muscle relaxation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi General & Family Physician
