Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I pulled myself up this morning and felt a tremendous pain in my back. This was followed by pain between my middle back to hip. I took Aleve and it mostly went away, but I am concerned because some of it is back as well as deep ache near my ovries and bladder.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. By your history and description, possibility of slipped intervertebral disc is more. So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination, MRI of lumber spine to rule out Prolapsed intervertebral disc. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid sudden jerky movements. Avoid bad postures in sleep. Apply warm water pad on affected areas. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these but first consult orthopedic doctor. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
