Hello there,
Your pain is concerning. From the description you are giving it seems to me that it could be endometriosis. Do you get severe pain even during your periods? Endometriosis means that some of the uterine (womb) lining is deposited on other organs maybe on the ovaries. Now many times this cannot be detected with an ultrasound. Only way to confirm is a laparoscopy in which they will put a tube with camera and view the internal organs. Its not a difficult procedure and doctors may even take remedial steps in the same process (Like remove the depositions). After such a laparoscopic procedure many women conceive. So I would say please go ahead and get the laparoscopy done. Let them find out the problem and maybe they can give you better solutions after the procedure.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
