When I breast fed my first born which was 9 years ago I had developed a golf ball size lump under my left arm. It was so painful. I went to see a doctor and he told me it was a milk duct that was pooling milk. He gave me an antibiotic and the lump went down. Ten years later and 2 more breast fed babies until about 1 year ago I still have a small lump in my left armpit area and my left arm will numb. It seems to act up before my period or if I am over tired or stressed. Should I be concerned??
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some enlarged axillary lymphnode, axillary tail of breast or galactocels. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
