I have develop some type of growth on the upper lip of my private area. I am a female and the growth started to getting longer and now it hangs down about 2 inches. I does not hurt or itch. It appears to be dark red and it shaped like a tiny ballon, small near the skin and it gets a little larger at the top. i HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT IT COULD BE. hELP!!KIM.HILL K
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. By the description you have give, the lump appears to be 'cellular angiofibroma'. It is a benign mesenchymal lesion which chiefly involves the vulval region. Its treatment includes surgical 'excision'. The whole lump is removed under local anesthesia under aseptic conditions. The tissue needs to be sent for histo-pathology examination to confirm the diagnosis. Kindly consult Gynecologist or Surgeon for its evaluation and its removal.
