Suggest Treatment For Lump In The Left Shin
I just noticed my 8yo son has a hard lump on his upper left shin, just below the knee, slightly to the right (inside of the shin). It feels like none and he says it is painless... he is active in soccer (although hasn t played in a few months) and flag football (playing now). I m wanting to get some advice on what it may be to determine if I should take him to the Dr ASAP. Thanks!! V/r Shannon

I don't think this is something to worry about. Lumps may happen for different reasons such as infection or trauma. He should do total blood to check white cells.
