Suggest Treatment For Lump In The Right Thigh Post An Accident
My Complaint I am from Mumbai, India. I had a fall while alighting from a bus. Following this I developed a lump-like swelling in my right thigh between the knee and the hip. Also, there a few small bruises on both the knees and a small black patches on my right leg. There is pain but it is not unbearable. This condition remains even today after a fortnight after the fall. The only medication that I have taken so far are1) application of the cream thromboforb , and 2) taking of the painkiller tablet flaxon ( two or three times a day for about 10 days). What I would like your advice on 1) Any further medical or surgical attention
The only point of concern is that sometimes at site of trauma or injuryabscess forms with pus inside which causes pain. You can get an ultrasound of the area to look for the abscess. if there is abscess then a drainage may be required for relief of pain and infection.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
