Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hard lump appeared suddenly on wife s arm just above wrist. X-rays inconclusive. No trauma that wife can remember. Lump causes pain with hand movement. Dr has her wearing a wrist elastic band to cut down on movement and to remind her not to overwork the hand.
MRI of the wrist recommended. Should consult with orthopedic doctor first to rule out wrist damaged soft tissues. If nothing then should run ultrasound of the hard lump to rule out lipoma.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
