I have a small lump (slightly smaller than a pea) on the inner labia. It is tender. I notice just now another has appeared nearby (on the smoothe skin between inner and outer labia). I had all clear std screening a few months ago when I met new partner (as did he) and prior to that hadnt had sex since previous partner (husband of ten years) who was also clear when tested. Last slept with him in 2010. New partner and I not active for last five months. what might this be? It s fleshy coloured but when squeezed seems to lighten. im scared.
Hi, This is most likely to be a Bartholin's cyst. This is not serious and these cysts occur in this area. If painful then a warm compress or warm bath will help soothe. I suggest you see you doctor to confirm diagnosis. Treatment involves either leaving alone if it gives no problem or antibiotics and surgical removal if it becomes infected or inflamed.
