Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 20 year old male, with a very small (smaller than pea sized) painless lump on my perineum. It seems to be attached to the urethra, not on the skin itself. it is not visible and is not causing me any pain or discomfort, though I very occasionally get a mild throbbing pain in my urethra and anus after urination, but the pain vanishes in minutes and only happens a couple of times a year.
The lump on perineum besides urethra portion might be a chronic condition as post inflammatory lesion of cyst, scarring or sinus formation. Though there is not continuous discomfort or problem, I would recommend to consult your primary care for evaluation and further guidelines.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
