Suggest Treatment For Lump On The Elbows

Slightly more than a month ago I developed a lump on my elbow. I thought maybe I had hit it and this was result of that. I don t remember doing so. It hasn t gone down at all, doesn t hurt or itch, but just is there and I rub it. I noticed it was warmer than my normal arm and had a thermal camera take photos of the area and it is definitely warmer. It is about 1 1/2 X 2 right on the end of the elbow. I took my temperature to make sure I didn t have a fever, and showed normal if not a little lower. (Oral - 97.5) My normal doctor is out of town and won t be back for another week. Do I need to have it looked at now or can I wait?
