Suggest Treatment For Lump On The Leg Between The Knee And Ankle

I have a lump on the inside of my leg halfway between the knee and ankle, i think its a soleus muscle strain, as I m a distance runner , if I press the lump initially there is some discomfort, after gentle pressing and massage for a couple of minutes, it becomes much less tight....the problem is that it doesn t seem to go away...I ve had some days off, tried running easy or steady with much problem but it doesn t ogf away and I m unable to do any hard workouts as this is when the soreness gets worse

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic
Concerning your lump between your knee and ankle I will suggest a possibility of benign tumor called Rhabdomyoma (tumor of the muscle)

In view of this please see a surgeon specialist for expert clinical evaluation of the lump as well as possible surgical excision biopsy procedure

I hope this helps Regards
