Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain a lump over the tongue can be due to a few reasons, the most common out of which is
Canker sore which can be initially in the form of a small bump which can later on become an ulcer while at times it resolves directly from a bump itself..
The other causes can be an inflamed lingual papillae causing Papillitis or can be due to thermal burn caused by any hot food..
A few less common causes can be
traumatic fibroma, papilloma etc..
You need not to worry as a small bump on tongue is not commonly a cause of any fatal disorder and can be treated easily..
You should consult an oral physician and get evaluated and get treated accordingly as per diagnosis..
As of now you can do warm saline gargles and take a
multivitamin tablet daily for 15 days..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
