Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. In May I discovered a lump under my left armpit. My 1st ultrasound indicated it was fine. During a followup another lump was found and the ultrasound results stated indeterminate and gave measurements of the lump. I am also severely anemic: iron deficient. My hemoglobin and iron levels are always low (I m beginning to think I don t absorb iron). Due to the 2nd utlrasound result my doctor conducted a full CBC test (testing for possible increase in lymphocyte levels) and the results indicate normal lymphocytes, but low hemoglobin and iron levels (as usual). However, this time the test indicates high monocyte absolute (1.0)...what does that mean?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, what ever the condition you have are not indicative of any disease but it just the insignificant the lump that you have could be the lymph nodes, you have not mentioned how much hemoglobin you have, you have not mentioned you age and gender here these are the information which were needed here for better discussion but I could say that over all it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
