Hi,

You need to check if it is related to chewing or the flow of saliva. If you try to take citrus fruit but you don't chew it, at that time if it is increased in size than it is not related to the jaw.

If it increases during chewing it can be. Best way to find out the diagnosis is to visit an ENT specialist and get it evaluated as early as possible.

Also, check if you have any sort of papule or scalp injury or infection on the same side.

During meantime take Augmentin 625 twice daily for five days. Make sure you are chewing using both sides of your teeth.

If you have any missing teeth get it replaced because the main cause of a TMJ problem is related to missing teeth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
