Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
Androgenetic alopecia is a condition in which there is genetically determined patterned hair loss, manifesting as thinning of hair from the crown and vertex of the scalp and receding hair line.
While topical
minoxidil along with aminexil, are hair growth promoters but they are non-specific, which do not address the exact underlying reason, which is hormone dependent hair thinning and hair shedding.
If I was the treating doctor I would have added an oral
antiandrogen e.g
finasteride Or Saw palmetto extract, which inhibits the enzyme
5-alpha reductase present in hair follicle outer root sheath, and thereby specifically targets the underlying cause of hair thinning.
Diet, Coconut oil, Eggs, Curd conditioning wont help at all. Only Minoxidil and Finasteride/Saw palmetto extract are known to be beneficial in this type of hair loss.
However,
hair transplant is the most effective and most lasting mode of restoring scalp hair
