Suggest Treatment For Memory Loss After Suffering A Concussion
My husband had a bad fall about a year and a half ago and hit his head, actually put a large dent in our hardwood floor, and since then he has experienced very poor memory. Our Dr. referred him to True North for his memory but because he had a concussion he didn t qualify for that research. Our Dr. Has checked his medications and changed some of them but I am at my wits end because his memory is getting worse. What is the next step I should take. I am thinking a Neurologist. Please reply. Thank you Barbara Sturdy,
It can happen after a head injury. Generally, it will settle by itself. If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated. You have to get an MRI scan for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
