Suggest Treatment For Microangiopathic Ischemic Disease According To An MRI Scan
what is marked microangiopathic ischemic disease with deep white matter infarcts in the subependymal periventricular deep white matter in the frontal parietal regions. And moderate cerebral atrophy with dilatedsubarachnoid space in the frontal lobes, as shown on an MRI of brain?
Hi The report indicates that in some areas of the brain there is blockage of small blood vessels leading to poor blood supply to that part of the brain. Cerebral atrophy is age related degenerative disease of the brain in which the brain starts shrinking. It doesn't occur in all people. In this report there is moderate degenerative changes with widening of a space (subarachanoid space) in a part of brain (frontal lobe). Thank you
