Suggest Treatment For Middle Ear Infections

I have had middle ear infections before. I have tried flushing my ears medicines for it. My whole head hurts so badly when I get these infections. I have been to a few doctors that say they cant see anything or tell me to put hydrocortisone cream in my ear canals. Its not working. I could cry. On an 8 hour basis I usually end up taking two 500 mg Tylenol and three 200mg ibuprofen. What are my other options? I feel like there is water or fluid behind my ear drum, like I am swimming. I cant grit my teeth together due to the pain. I get whatever infection this is like every two to four weeks, mostly in the same ear but sometimes in both.

Please remember not to take double doses of pain killers like ibuprofen as it may result in damage to other organs of your body if you keep taking high doses of such anti-inflammatory drugs.
There are different types of middle ear infections like chronic otitis media, otitis media with effusion etc. Your condition can be diagnosed correctly with proper examination of your ear and then an appropriate treatment can be suggested.
Amoxicillin an antibiotic is usually prescribed for middle ear infections. But nowadays antibiotic use is discouraged in chronic ear infections. Only using painkillers is recommended. Ibuprofen is recommended for such painful conditions like yours but it's dose should not be exceeded against the doctor's advice.
In 90% of cases like yours this pain disappears in about a month. Most likely your pain will slowly disappear in a while. But if unfortunately it doesn't then visiting an ENT specialist would be a best idea to diagnose and treat this condition.
Thank you
