Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother who is 92 years old for the past 2 months has been having migraine headaches but it mostly affects her eyes not so much the headache she has to wear her sunglasses for awhile while she gets her eyesight back to normal, what can be causing this.
The symptoms of your mother seem to be related to a migraine. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. If the symptoms continue, you should consult a neurologist for prescription treatment such as Triptans.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
