I have a history of migraines and keep developing new kinds, the latest being seizure-mimicking migraines . I have had recurring vertigo for 13 years, and so far every reasonable probable cause has been ruled out although it is often, for me, linked to barometric change. For the last week I have had something new. It started with sudden onset fatigue - at 4.30 last Thursday, all of a sudden I was overwhelmingly exhausted. That lasted for three days and was overlapped with and followed by nausea, balance problems, speech impairment, visual auras and memory loss similar to the migraine isssues. Some of that has cleared, but now a week later I am still having the dizziness, nausea, visual auras, and memory loss. The meclizine is not having any effect, neither is the topamax which I just started taking again on Friday. The last time I had seizure migraines, last year, the topamax had immediate effect but not this time. Any suggestions?
