Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was wondering if Tylenol pm could be ok to take with Xanax I take .5 I suffer from migraines and I also suffer anxiety problems. I've taken the Tylenol pm but not Xanax and I'm supposed to take one tablet twice daily. I've never combined my medication that's why I have a concern or question. I also take lamictal for petite mal seizures and I haven't had that problems for many many years
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Tylenol PM consists of Paracetamol and Diphenhydramine and the drug is a good analgesic drug. Xanax is a benzodiazepine drug. There is no contraindication in taking both these drugs together if taken under proper prescription. Try to use these drugs on SOS basis only and don't take these drugs regularly.
Visit your psychiatrist if symptoms persist or worsen.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
