Hi
A
migraine headache causes throbbing or pulsating pain, usually on only one side of the head. These
headaches are often associated with nausea,
vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound; they generally last between four hours and three days
Some people who suffer from migraines can clearly identify triggers or factors that cause the headaches, but many cannot. Potential migraine triggers include:
Allergies and allergic reactions
Bright lights, loud noises, flickering lights, smoky rooms, temperature changes, strong smells and certain odors or perfumes
Physical or emotional stress, tension, excitement
Physical triggers such as
tiredness, jet lag, exercise
Changes in sleep patterns or irregular sleep
Foods containing
tyramine (red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken livers, figs, and some beans),
monosodium glutamate (MSG), or nitrates (like bacon, hot dogs and salami)
Other foods such as chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, avocado, banana, citrus, onions, dairy products and fermented or pickled foods
Probably your child would have been put on IV soothing agents to bring down the anxiety(however the exact medication what was given can be checked with your treating doctor) this may one of the reason for the child to be quite and having reduced physical activity and if it continues to be in the same state for two weeks then consult the treating doctor again
Please also teach your child to do
meditation for 10-11 mins daily
Wish Your Child Good Health
