How should mild cardiomyopathy be treated? I also am be treated for atrial fibrillatio and high blood pressure. These are my meds. Eliquis 5MG one tab. twice daily Digoxin 0.25MG one tab. daily Metropolol 100MG once a day Lisinopril 10MG one tab. twice daily I am 78years young, am 5 8 and weigh 125 lbs. Have had two knee replacement surgeries in the past two years. Other than the above, I feel wonderful.

Your treatment may include medications, surgically implanted devices or, in severe cases, a heart transplant . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order chest X-ray , echocardiogram , treadmill stress test , catheterization , CT scan , and blood tests . Doctor may recommend an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator and septal myectomy along with medication from which your are already taking many .
