Suggest Treatment For Mild Fever And Cough In An Asthma Patient
I recently am getting over a cold. I have asthma, and it is quite often triggered by allergies. I have had a fever less than 100 at least twice this week, I still have a cough, and sometimes spit up mucus. Is this something I need medication to get rid of, or will it eventually go away if I keep taking my allergy medicine?
hi i have gone through your question and i can understand your concerns. i use to treat this type of patients in my clinic. 1st thing is dont stop your allergy medicine and also try to avoid allergic substance ( if needed you can use mask) if you have cough with fever it is indicative of infection a short course of antibiotics with some decongestant for fever can help you to feel better hope this information is helpful for you wishing you a good health
