Hi, I am a woman 47 years old and I am on vacation in Thailand. I have problems with cauth, pain in throat and lungs. A little fever. Started 9 days ago. Got worse 2 days ago. I also have diarrea since 6 days ago. Treat that with Dimor. I tried to contact doctor but he wasnt there. Farmacy gave me Cefspan. I eat Escitalopram and omeprasol every day. Some medications dont fit with eachother. I found a notification that Cefspan caused deaths in United states. I didnt take Cefspan and I need a professional opinion about this drug. I know that antibiotika does not help me if my problem is caused by a virus. Thanks for listening :) Regards Kicki
For treatment of diarrhea due to bacterial infection, cefspan is safe and good. Escitalopram and Omeprazole interaction with cefspan is not much concern.
It's safe to take. but for Viral infection cefspan is not useful. So for your diarrhea, take oral rehydration powder for proper hydration and ion supplement. take coffee and curd enough. avoid taking unhygienic food.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat,
