Suggest Treatment For Mildly Enlarged Liver

I am banshidhar soni My liver is mild enlarged in size (157 mm) with increased echogenicity. Gall bladder - normal distended. Multiple isoechoic to echogenic nodules (2-5mm) seen adhered to both anterior and posterior GB walls ---polyps. Is it ok or not? If not what should i do?

Hi,

Based on the ultrasound report you have furnished, the following things needs to be followed to maintain better health.

1. Diet consumption low in fats with moderate quantities of carbohydrate and protein with inclusion of good quantity of dietary fibers.

2. Abstain from smoking and alcohol consumption, if you hare habituated to.

3. Regular physical activity and moderate exercises.

4. Intake of antioxidant medications containing Vitamin E and selenium.

5. Half yearly follow-up with liver function test and ultrasound scan of abdomen.
