Hi,

Short course of hormones (advised according to your health status by a doctor) can induce delayed periods but the root cause needs to be found. The symptoms you have indicate hormonal imbalance which could be due to thyroid, pituitary or ovarian problems. (cyst, PCOD) or menopause. To know exact cause needs investigations like hormonal assessments, pelvic sonography. After that cause would be evident &specific treatment would be advised by a gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
