Suggest Treatment For Mite Infestation On The Body
i have some kind of mite infestion on my body and in my clothes i know its not scabies as ive had them before i feel them crawling on me with the occaisional bite, but no burrows etc,ive treated myself 4xs with body lice meds and bleach with only temporary results
1. A mite infestation on the human skin is somewhat difficult to diagnose because the mites tends to fall off after burrowing or biting the skin. Thus you have to check with a Dermatologist who will perform a clinical evaluation and observe the reactions present on the skin, which are often delayed and probably go for skin biopsy of the region to determine the type of mite that has burrowed into the skin or caused an infection on the skin.
2. Depending upon the outcome the dermatologist may prescribe antibiotics to eliminate infections: steroid cream to reduce itching, swelling and redness, and a soothing lotion to control itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
