Suggest Treatment For Monophobia

Good Morning, I need help for my wife. She has a critical problem. She never let me go out to any business tour. Whenever I talk to her about going out for business tour, she starts crying and feeling breathless. She always says dont go out without me. Now I am on the verge of losing job because of this. Please suggest.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Your wife could be having a mental condition named autophobia / monophobia. But before concluding you should confirm whether her symptoms agree to this.

Look for the following physical/biological symptoms:

Feeling of terror
Anxiety
Trembling
Increased heart rate
Increased pulse rate
Dyspnea

Also find that how your wife deals when you are away at office. Talk to her and motivate her, give her confidence. If necessary, do consult a psychologist.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this website. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe some psychotherapy techniques which should help you cure your condition further.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
