Suggest Treatment For Motion Sickness

Today I got carsick on the way to and from a place an hour away from my home. In the past I have felt sick in a car if I have an empty stomach and eating something makes me feel better, but I had never thrown up before from it. I had eaten before I left today and I tried to eat something in the car but it did not help and I vomited 5 minutes before arriving. After arriving it took a bit before I felt better and the rest of the day was great. On the way home I started to feel queasy right away so I lay down and closed my eyes for the entire trip home. I managed to make it in my house and a couple minutes later got sick and then started feeling better but not fully. It s four hours later and I still feel mildly sick. I have iron deficiency anemia and take two iron pills a day. I also have autoimmune thyroiditis and my levothyroxin was recently doubled from 75mg to 150. The past 8 weeks my doctor has also had me on once weekly vitamin d pills. I have never been so carsick before and never when I have eaten first. I am 31 year old female.

Hello,

Motion sickness is a normal phenomenon and not associated with autoimmune thyroiditis or iron deficiency. To avoid motion sickness, you may take scopolamine half an hour before travelling.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
