Suggest Treatment For Motor Neuron Disease And Lump On Neck
I am Irine from Kenya.My mother was diagnosed with motor-neuron disease and her hands have stopped working completely, she also has a lump on her neck but it is very small. she also has mucus on her throat which is very hard to come out and sometimes chokes her. Her tongue is also heavy which makes her difficult to talk . Please advice.

Post nasal drip from sinus disease is the most common cause of mucus in the back of the throat.
The use of oral anti histamines and a topical steroid nasal spray may help to reduce her secretions.
The oral antihistamines may be available over the counter.
Eg of topical nasal sprays include nasonex, nasocort, avamys, flonase, rhinocort
