Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
iam having urcers but i have been not able to treat and cure them because they tell me they are in the third stage so it difficult please ca you suggest what medicine can help to cure me , 1:some say food is what treats urcers is it true , how can it treate ulcers.?
As per your complain stage three ulcer are the one that involves the overlying skin along with necrosis of the underlying subcutaneous tissues leading to deep crater like ulcers. Taking foods cannot treat the ulcers but they need proper wound debridement and also placement of antiseptic dressing.
It has to be followed by high doses of antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers and at times antibiotic and steroid shots can also help. I would therefore suggest you to consult a General Surgeon and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora
