Suggest Treatment For Multiple Bite Marks, Bruises Behind Calf And Knee
3 year old with straight line bruises, one on the back of each calf about halfway between the ankle and back of knee and approximately 1.5-2.5 in. in length and about half an inch wide. They do not match up from leg to leg. He is in day care most of the day and has had multiple bite marks that staff claims to know nothing about, I am concerned about possible child abuse because of the shape and placement of the bruises, is this something common in toddlers?

The situation is not at all common in toddlers. Please consider it to be a result from improper care taking at daycare and possibility of abuse sound appealing too.
1) Please take necessary steps to take care of bite marks if they are deep / skin piercing they need to be properly dressed and antibiotics are needed since the human bite is as dangerous as dog bite. (Please take the kid to local emergency room or pediatrician and have it checked.
2) Report the condition to local authority depending upon your country of residence
3) Take child out of the day care and find new and better one
