Suggest Treatment For Multiple Matted Erythema

hello sir, best regards. im a medical student in bangladesh of final year. my brother had a prblem right now. he has multiple matted erythema specially on chest with sever pruritus. i prefered him Fexofenadine, but improvement is not significant. should i use Imidazoles & topical steroids. pls , help me, sir. i can't able my seniors right now. thank u, sir

I can understand your concern.
Multiple matted arrhythmia with pruritus can be due to urticaria (skin allergy).
And in my opinion, it is better to give combination of anti allergic (montelukast) and anti histamine (fexofenadine) instead of plain fexofenadine.
You can also apply steroid cream (mometasone).
In severe cases, oral steroids (prednisone) is also advisable.
If he still feels itching then consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination and skin Biopsy for confirmation.
