Suggest Treatment For Multiple Myeloma

I m not sure how to spell the condition. It is a condition where I have bone fragments growing out of my gums. I have multiple myeloma and have been taking chemo drugs for 3 years. the bone fragments are painful and my teeth are very sensitive I seen Drs. but haven t had much luck. What can be done?

Hi,

Multiple myeloma is bone malignancy which is known to cause relapse and aggressive recurrence.

The way you are describing, the possibility of relapse of multiple myeloma in the form of bony spurs is more likely.

So better to consult oncologist and get done a PET scan to identify metastases if present.

You may need to change chemotherapy drugs.

Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
