Suggest Treatment For Multiple Peripheral Follicles After Suffering From PCOD
My daughter has a history of infrequent periods and I myself suffer from PCOS...her OBGY/N ordered a transabdominal ultrasound and the following is listed in the findings but her OBGY/N did not explain what this meant.... There are also tiny multiple peripheral follicles in the left ovary (greater than 15). There are tiny multiple peripheral follicles in the right ovary. There is a small amount of free fluid in the posterior cul-de-sac. The impression states the following: 1. Multiple tiny peripheral follicles in the ovaries may be due to polycystic ovarian disease. Recommend clinical/laboratory correlation. 2. Small amount of free fluid in the cul-de-sac which may be physiologic.
The irregularity in period is due to the pcod of the ovary as mentioned in scanning. You have to improve the metabolic rate for the above condition. Follicles mean the undelivered ovum from follicles.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
