my TSH 3rd generation is 0.02. My T4Free is 1.3 I am taking 88 mcg generic Synthroid. I have very aching muscles, joints (elbows, knees, knuckles, bones in feet), itching skin and sweat way too much. Dr. wants me to stay on the generic for 3 more months. If nothing changes she will do the testing for Hoshimotos Disease. My question is: why is she waiting when I feel so tired with all the above symptons. I have been on the medication for 5 months now.
