Suggest Treatment For Muscle Pain And Vomiting During Pregnancy
hi,my wife is pregnant and have 2 month 10days of pregnancy. She have leg and muscles pain and have vomiting. Is it due to lack of calcium for muscles pain as she will not be able to take rich calcium diet such as milk etc.? could we take calcium tablet after 2 months of pregnancy? If yes, could you suggest us the name of calcium tab? To prevent vomiting, could you suggest any medicine or no medicine is required? please suggest the best option.
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion vomitings and muscle cramps are routinely seen in pregnancy.Muscle cramps are due to calcium insufficiency. So take calcium rich diet along with calcium supplements. There will be different brands in combination which will be suggested by your doctor. For vomitings the medicines like doxylamine, ondansetron, metochlorpromide will be there.Depending on severity of vomitings they will be prescribed.Dont worry. They will subside after 3 months. Take adequate fluids to prevent dehydration. Best regards...Dr.srilatha
