Suggest Treatment For Muscle Weakness And Lower Back Pain In An Athlete
This is for my Son--He is a Hockey player 24 yrs old--He has had crapping of his leg muscles--pain in his lower back and muscle weakness. He is very athletic and in excellent physical condition except for these symptoms. One other thing about a week ago he was at practice and he started sweating really bad and felt confused and dizzy. He went home ate took a nap and hasn t had that happen again. What should he do??
Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-:1)Before proceeding to treatment first we have to find the reason behind muscle weakness and lower back pain so do a neurological examination to see whether any neuro deficit is present or not and do a MRI scan 2)Ruled out Back strain and do stretching exercises ,he can take painkiller (combiflam) also. 3)Ruled out prostate by doing an Ultrasound exam Report me after 7 days I hope I was able to address your query.
