Suggest Treatment For Muscle Weakness And Pain In The Left Arm
Hi , my name is Marci Keener nad I have been experiencing pain in my left arm somewhere between my tricep and shoulder endgoing towards my back upper shoulder blade area and it send a tingling sensation down my arm to my fingers it seems to be most of them. The pain isnt exactly a pain it kind of feels like my arm is heavy as if I were just lifting weights and the tired weak muscular feeling you have afterwards. My mother is protein S deficient and I have a recent PTT (b) reading of 59 I als have issues with my spine c3-c6 and lorodosis reversal, I guess I am wondering, blood clot? heart (My maternal grandfather had a heart condition) or cervical spondylosis
* As per my clinical experience, diagnosis of your condition is vital to determine the course of action to cure it.
* As there is a family history of protein S deficiency, I would suspect muscular dystrophy of some sort with nerve compression or involvement causing the upper arm weakness with fingers tingling.

Suggest Treatment For Muscle Weakness And Pain In The Left Arm
Hello, * As per my clinical experience, diagnosis of your condition is vital to determine the course of action to cure it. * As there is a family history of protein S deficiency, I would suspect muscular dystrophy of some sort with nerve compression or involvement causing the upper arm weakness with fingers tingling. * A very well directed approach with evaluation of creatinine kinase, nerve conduction study, electromyography and blood tests for particular antibodies would help to explore further guidelines in your case. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
