General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The short breath with nasal blockage seems in tonsillar tissue which may protrude into the pharyngeal space obstructing the airway to gasp for the air. However, a polysomnography, blood gas analysis would be of paramount importance to get the final diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
