Hi,

I would like to say that drinking water is not antidoted for Paracetamol if taken in overdose.

But the gastric lavage is the treatment for this and it has to be done in the hospital.

Here in your case 8 tablet ( 4 grams ) is not the lethal dose but may damage the liver, for the later stage live function test is a must.

Condition need to be a monitor for a vital function test, drinking more water is not the treatment at all, hope my answer will help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
