Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was walking through a store when I suddenly felt nauseous, extremely thirsty and weak like I might faint. I went home and checked my blood pressure. It was high for me 134/85. I am 61, retired but under a lot of stress the past few months. This has never happened before.
Your blood pressure is within the normal range for your age. I think the symptoms you experienced are possibly caused by diabetes. You should check your glucose levels fasting and post prandial glucose levels and HbA1c.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
