Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Intermittent High Fever

Started with nausea, then a fever and now vomiting and diarrhea. Muscle pain, and high blood pressure (157 over 113 with a pulse if 112). He is a diabetic and is on Metformin, Lisinopril, Lantus, Hydrochlorothiazide (only took for the blood pressure after feeling sick),Vitamin D, fish oil, and Testosterone CYP/ANAS Trozole. He feels very week and I am wondering if these symptom might be a virus or something more serious.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sounds like bacteria infection, most likely involving the intestine. Basic evaluation with lab tests of blood and stool microscopy are a must to give the best possible therapy.

Primary home care with plenty of liquids, probiotic like Racecadotril and antipyretic like Tylenol will help great.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wish you great health.

Regards,
