Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Pressure Sensation In The Abdomen
Hello so I ve had u protected sex about a week and a day ago I ve noticed I ve haven t been feeling right been feeling nauseous and going to the bathroom a lot more . I feel pressure in the lower belly region , not sure if it s a sign of early pregnancy or a bladder infection . How would I know the difference without waiting so long to test
Hi. Sorry to hear about your problem. So far as your question is concerned . Pregnancy can cause nausea and vomiting and a sensation of fullness/heavyness but not that much early. It is most probably a urinary tract infection (URI) or less likely a sexually transmitted infection. So my advice at the moment is to get complete urine examination done and it will help out in making a clear diagnosis. Afterward you may need to visit a urologist if it turns out to be a UTI/STI. But you may need to visit a gynaecologist for evaluation of pregnancy if you miss your dates as expected because presence of UTI/STI does not rule out the pregnancy after an unprotected intercourse. Wishing you best of health. Regards.
