Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Vomiting After Injury To Stomach
About 6 weeks ago I ran into the wooden footboard on our bed. The corner caught my belly area. It never bruised but 2 weeks ago I noticed a lump in that area. Two days ago and last night while sleeping, I woke up having a BM feeling. Went to the bathroom and had really bad cramping and not much came out. However at the same time became very nauseated and vomited. This has happened twice now in the last thee days. Think I should see my doctor about it? Or just let it ride and see if it happens again.
I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best way possible. It is not common to have nausea and vomitting and lump in abdomen 6 weeks after an injury. It may be coincidental finding.
However any lump in abdomen requires a search for its cause. You may have to give a complete history in forms of questions pertaining to your problems and undergo a complete physical examination of the lump. You may also require a few tests like CBC,LFT and at least USG abdomen to find a cause for the lump.
I suggest you see a doctor who would do a diagnostic workup for you and plan a treatment depending upon the diagnosis.
