Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Diarrhea And Abdominal Pain

My 10 yr old daughter has had stomach pain now for 2 full days. Started yest. morning. had a normal but very large bm. then got very pale, nausea. C/o pain in upper left quadrant.... nauseated the rest of yesterday. Threw up after eating dry cheerios. held sips of water down. had one episode of diarrhea late yesterday (normal color). DIdn;t sleep much for pain of 6 off & on during the night. stomach pain worsens if she moves around. gets better if she lays still for a while. sipped water today, no more BMs. Sipped clear liquid soup today. Still hurting this evening. Today pain has been more in center of abdomen around area of belly button. WHat s wrong?

Hello,

As per your history, it may be acute gastroenteritis.

For that you can give a combination of syp. norfloxacin and syp. tinidazole after consultation.

For pain, you can give syp. mefenamic acid and syp. ondansetron for nausea.

Keep her hydrated. give hygienic water and food.
