Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 18 month old vomits 2 to 3 times a day. This is happening from last three weeks. On dec 23 2015 he is sick with viral fever for a week and he is ok fro 2 days and the caught cold and sick for two weeks. After he has cough for 4 days and he started throwing up. Please give me suggestions what to do.
Vomiting can occur after an episode of persistent coughing so if this is the case then the coughing needs to be treated, this would improve the vomiting.
It is also possible that it is not related to the coughing.
It would be best for him to be assessed regarding the vomiting because young children can easily become dehydrated from vomiting or diarrhea. His doctor would also be able to treat the cough.
I hope this helps
