General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Vomiting can occur after an episode of persistent coughing so if this is the case then the coughing needs to be treated, this would improve the vomiting.

It is also possible that it is not related to the coughing.

It would be best for him to be assessed regarding the vomiting because young children can easily become dehydrated from vomiting or diarrhea.
His doctor would also be able to treat the cough.

I hope this helps
